Famicom 30th Anniversary

On July 15, 1983, Nintendo Co. Ltd launched the Family Computer in Japan. Thirty years later, the Family Computer is still remembered for its success, innovation, and above all else, fun games.

 Happy birthday Famicom!

This shouldn't even be an issue.

But in all seriousness, vote for whoever you feel is best for you. Or not. Freedom of choice, baby. siggy 11

FAN ART: Howard & Nester

The following is a two page FULL-COLOR comic I've drawn for Howard Phillips, former Nintendo of America employee and the President of the Nintendo Fun Club (which later went on to become Nintendo Power). It's my entry for a "Howard & Nester" comic contest he is sponsoring on Facebook. Enjoy.

You can also follow him (@GamemasterH) on Twitter.

EDIT: I didn't win, but still, enjoy the comic.

AUDIOSOLVENT

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Audiosolvent, an open-forum podcast covering nerd culture. This episode stars Zonga Fielding, Showa60, and Draven Darkwood as hosts as they discuss the (failing?) state of the video game industry.

Future episodes will cover other topics pertaining to nerd culture and possibly outside of it, such as politics, religion, economics and other "serious" stuff.

Enjoy the podcast and please support the group. And last but not least, I will be a co-host in future installments of Audiosolvent!
